CHURCHES TOGETHER AROUND TADLEY (CTAT)

 

  

 
   

 
 
Churches Together Around comprises Tadley and district's eleven churches.
 The post of CTAT Moderator is at present vacant


Each church operates individually, but all come together under the auspices of CTAT to share to following annual events:
JANUARY - 18th - 25th is observed universally as a week of prayer for Christian Unity.
A United Service is held in the Community Centre.
MARCH - The first Friday of March is Women's World Day od prayer. A United Service is held in one of the Churches.
MARCH - The Churches join for Lent Study Groups.
GOOD FRIDAY - Walk of Witness. A silent walk through Tadley ending with worship in one of the Churches.
MAY - Churches Together Around Tadley coordinates the annual House to House collection for Christian Aid.
JULY - An open-air "Songs of Praise" for everyone.
NOVEMBER - Hurst School Prize-Giving. CHAT sponsors a prize for an adult who has benefited the school.
NOVEMBER - Members of the Churches lead the Carol singing as the lights of Tadley's Christmas tree are switched on.
DECEMBER - The Churches distribute a Christmas card to Tadley homes with information on Christmas Services.
EACH MONTH - CTAT organises Sunday afternoon worship in Bishopswood Court.
